What Accenture publishes about its process

Accenture India campus (MyZone): assessments and interviews (opens in a new tab)

  • Eligible candidates receive an invitation to online assessments scheduled in two stages, with sectional cut-offs; the technical, coding, behavioural and communication assessments are mandatory.
  • Technical assessment: 45 minutes on common applications and MS Office, pseudocode, networking, security and cloud fundamentals, and basic programming concepts.
  • Coding assessment: 60 minutes, 3 questions to solve in a backend language (Java, .NET, Python, C++, C#), SQL, or front-end technology (HTML, CSS, React, Vue).
  • Behavioural and cognitive assessment: 40 minutes on personality, gamified puzzles and numerical equations; the communication assessment takes about 30 minutes and covers verbal and written skills.
  • The interview is with one panelist for about 30 minutes, after the candidate selects a slot; the admit card and government ID are verified.
  • Accenture says the hiring process is run virtually within 12 days from assessment to final selection.

Across the accounts

  • Campus candidates describe online assessments (cognitive and technical MCQs, coding, communication) followed by a single interview that mixes technical and HR questions.
  • The interview is short (15-30 minutes) in most campus accounts and centres on projects and behavioural questions; several candidates say no technical questions were asked.
  • Experienced Java hires describe one or two technical rounds of core Java, Java 8, Spring Boot and SQL, then an HR salary discussion.
